My First Whizzcar Drive

Today i rented a car from Whizzcar Car rental and drove all around Singapore all alone.
I was so scared i couldnt even pluck enough courage to drive out of the 5 storey carpark.
But with enough will power..... i finally plucked enough courage to drive out.
I guess i was scared coz i was driving alone for the first time.
Usually someone is beside me when i drive.

It was a real eye opener for me coz i was near accident a few times.... luckily i return the car in one piece.

1st) I break last minute coz i last min saw the traffic light turn red....my bag flew off the car seat.
2nd) I tried to change lane on the left.....then a taxi was going into that lane too... i didnt check and he horned me so loudly.I was afraid i decide not to change lane.
3rd) I was so close to a bus.....almost hit in on the left...luckily no....

Nevertheless i made an achievement.... i manage to find my way through reading road signs.... i'm so bad at reading the street directory....though i brought it along wif me.

I drove from Clementi to my home.....before home i made a trip to the petrol station to fill up full tank. The tank cap couldnt be opened....so tight i guess...luckily one of the pump attendant manage to open it at last. After that i wanted to drive off but my car wouldnt go.... only to realise later that i didnt turn the ignition key properly....but the engine was on...so malu man....i have such bad car knowledge.

After that i drove to bishan....then u-turn and drove all the way to paya lebar via normal road not highway....i was driving straight all the way when i reached a point i dont know how to turn back.
Luckily i saw PIE......I decide to turn in and drive the car to clementi....
I was too early when i reached clementi...so i drive around clementi and practiced my parking (twice). Once in a carpark in clementi....once in the carpark i collect my car.

When i returned the car... i made a wrong turn...end up cannot drive upwards...
Had a hard time trying to reverse the car but later managed to drive my way up....
I will make sure i dont miss the entry point next time.....

Before returning the car i took a few pictures......loved the car man....wished i had one...but no....
Nevermind at least i achieved something today...to drive alone without someone guiding me.....hehehe....

10th Sep 2008......Break Fast at sakura city hall

I went out wif my poly friend yesterday..... She has grown prettier and lost a bit of weight.... As for me.....darker eye bags and more pimples....sob sob....

Havent met her since last year dec..... long time.....

We Break Fast together at sakura thai/chinese restaurant.

She last min had to come late coz her sis forgot to bring house keys.So i decided to book a place first at the restaurant.I was intensely shocked when i entered the restaurant.I was asked to leave by 6.45pm as they have a function by then..... i calmed down and ask...i'm here to break fast. They replied....oh...break fast.... then u need to book a place. Then i realise the function they were having was Break Fast for the muslims.....i felt relieved. I booked a place and went shopping as it was 6.20 then.....7.06pm was break fast time.

My fren arrive about 7pm.We were not allowed to enter the restaurant yet.... we waited till 7pm b4 they let us in. Short while after we were seated...the restaurant was full of people....

Amazing...usually not that crowded.... furthermore its a weekday. Syukur alhamdulilah murah rezeki restaurant owner tu.

After break fast we walked from city hall to marina square while chatting all the way.

Finally we rested near the F1 race location and took a few pictures like the one on the left.

We chat for a while and head on home.

It was a fruitful outing...

disappointed

True enough my sis reach home late yesterday...Suddenly wake up at 5am only to find she is not home.For the first time in life i felt like a mother who is worried about her daughter. My sis didnt even bother to tell me that she will be home late. She only told me that she wont be home late. CRAP man....I end up calling her at 5am. Soon after at 5.15am she reached home. She found a new guy fren whom she can connect to so well...and i suspect they spend the night together outside but my sis refuse to admit. Only saying she go out wif her girlfrens. My sis is so bad at telling lies. I could easily see through her lie when i overheard her conversation over the phone that morning. Some more can tell me she was at Raffles hanging out and waiting for first bus to come. Later i found out she went to the beach that night after seeing sand particles at my house doorsteps. I swept the house the night before... Once again my sis bad at keeping secrets.

This evening after work....we went to jurong swimming pool for a swim.We went there to experience the wave.Initially we were disapointed coz no wave. Hence we went to the lazy pool for a dip....Soon enough the wave came...We started running to that pool to experience the wave...It was so fun!! the wave lasted for around 15 to 20 mins..BEST!! But we didnt get to enjoy much coz we started swimming at abiut 8pm. Nevertheless it was a wonderfully spent short time. We were enjoying ourselves.

While swimming, my sis told me she might change boyfren. What the hell...i was expecting that. She told me the name of the good guy fren she recently knew .Her current boyfren challenge her to find someone better then him and can last up to 6 mths.... Boy! What a challenge.
I sarcastically say its time to change boyfren since always quarrel with current boyfren. Sometimes i think im so busybody to care about her actions. But i cant help being concern.

Feel so sleepy now...Time to sleep. Gdnight!!!

tues....another work day...went for a jog after work. Then did laundry,dishes. Hai tired man.... My sis is out again today.... 12.50am....she still not home....say wont be home so late...CRAP man!! Mum's working so FREEDOM!!.....unlike me who choose to be home....haha. Actually my fren cant make it for swimming today. Hence postpone till tomoro.
Cant wait to swim man.... I still havent pack my swim suit.... tomoro pack...as usual last minute work.... Tomoro is another working day...my current job has minimal stress...Like a tidal wave... .sometimes busy like hell....sometimes too free . I wonder am i in the right job? My job scope is so unlike its job title.Hai...only time will tell whether i will change job. Nevertheless ... i thank Allah for giving me this job.

Yeh!!! got something new today to do in my life

She introduced me to it... Haha... me so ancient... now then do this.... haha..my colleague call me cavewoman.
Now got something to spice up my boring life.....
Haha.... its 1.21am now and my sis is still outside.... wonder where she go with her fren?
